Guests can walk to Eastern Lake Beach Access, located near the Eastern Lake outfall where Eastern Lake Road meets the beach.

Eastern Lake is close by for paddleboarding, kayaking, and enjoying one of the area's rare coastal dune lake settings. Bon Villa Beach Access Points

Eastern Lake Beach Access — less than a quarter of a mile
Eastern Lake Beach Access is one of the most scenic beach access points along 30A, offering a beautiful setting where the coastal dune lake meets the Gulf of Mexico. From 102 Dalton Drive, walk west toward Eastern Lake Road and continue toward the Gulf to reach Eastern Lake Beach Access, located near the point where Eastern Lake meets the beach.

Ramsgate Beach Access — less than a half of a mile
From 102 Dalton Drive, walk north toward Williams Street, then continue west toward the Gulf to reach Ramsgate Beach Access. This access can be a convenient alternative when water levels at Eastern Lake affect the walking route, as it provides a direct path to the beach without requiring guests to wade through water.

Helpful Tip: Ramsgate Beach Access is slightly farther away, but it may provide the easier route when Eastern Lake is open to the Gulf or water levels are elevated.

Golf Cart Policies and Tips

Guests may have access to the Moke/golf cart during their stay. By using the cart, guests agree to operate it safely, responsibly, and in accordance with all local laws, neighborhood rules, and posted signage.

Before driving, guests must disengage the emergency brake and ensure all riders are wearing seatbelts. The cart may beep continuously if seat belts are not fastened. Guests should not press the red battery shut-off button/lever on the far-left side, as this will turn off power to the cart. The red button must remain pulled out for the cart to operate.

The cart has a Hi/Lo speed setting. When the Hi/Lo button is engaged, the cart may operate at a reduced speed of approximately 16 mph. When disengaged, the cart may reach approximately 25 mph. Guests are expected to drive carefully and avoid speeding, reckless driving, or improper use.

When parking the cart, guests must always set the emergency brake. The cart must be parked only in permitted areas. Golfcart parking is not allowed in Rosemary Beach or Alys Beach. These neighborhoods may issue tickets, and guests will be fully responsible for any tickets, fines, towing, or violations received during their stay.

The cart should be charged as needed. The charging port is located on the front-left tire side behind a movable cap. Guests should move the cap aside, plug in the charger, and confirm the charging light is blinking near the plug-in area.

Guests are responsible for any damage, misuse, parking violations, tickets, towing fees, or loss related to the Moke/golf cart during their stay. Please enjoy the cart, explore 30A safely, and use it with care.
